CONDITIONS:
* $16.75 Per Hour, 7.5 hours per day
* 180 Work Days, days students are in session
* Times may be determined by building principal
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Substitute Teaching Permit/Indiana Teaching License
* High School Diploma or equivalent considered
* College degree preferred
* Successful Safe Hiring Solutions Extensive Background Check
* Completion of Substitute Teacher Packet along with mandatory Internet Based Training
* Successful experience working with school-aged children
* Completed online application and successful interview with Principal
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Follow the regular teachers' lesson plans and maintain discipline in the classroom at a level in which learning can take place
* Expectation is that these two responsibilities will be carried out in a climate of respect and caring for the students
* A substitute may cover several different content areas during a day, so the candidate must be flexible and able to adapt to various environments.
* Other duties as assigned by Principal
