Job Description
Merrillville, IN – Technical Lead position responsible for overseeing the design, support, and integration of OMS and DMS products across electric transmission and distribution projects.
Required Skills- Strong understanding of Electricity Transmission and Distribution business.
- Proficiency in System Implementation Lifecycle.
- Business Requirements Gathering.
- Integration of OMS with other systems.
- Geospatial Technology exposure.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and Database administration.
- Knowledge of OMS/DMS modules from vendors such as Oracle NMS, Oracle OUA, OMA, OSI Monarch, SIEMENS, GE, and ABB.
- Experience in design, steady state support, project management, and execution of OMS and DMS projects involving integration of more than 100 substations.
- Awareness of latest industry standards and technology trends.
- Work with customers and support existing NMS, OMA, Flex, and OUA applications.
- Create customized queries to extract data and share with clients.
- Carry out changes based on change requests and maintain the system during planned and emergency operations.
- Perform DR/Prod changeovers and regression testing, including integration repointing.
- Gather and develop business and technical requirements while supporting the development of the customer’s Technical Specifications, Architecture, and design roadmap.
- Translate a wide variety of client needs into detailed proposals and project plans to meet project requirements.
- Manage, oversee, and coordinate all aspects of the project from initial planning through completion.
- Proactively communicate project requirements and key updates through monthly and critical progress reports.
- Manage all interfaces and communication between client, Project Team, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure clarity of expectations for project deliverables, identify potential project risks, and develop/implement mitigation strategies.
- Discretionary Annual Incentive.
