Operations Manager, Risk Manager/Analyst
The Operations Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple branch locations within an assigned region. This role is accountable for driving performance, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering a consistent, high-quality member experience across all branches.
Reporting directly to executive leadership, the Operations Manager leads and develops Branch Managers and operations staff, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and service standards. This position plays a critical role in advancing growth, strengthening compliance, developing talent, and reinforcing the credit union’s culture and community presence.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development- Lead, coach, and develop Branch Managers and operations staff to achieve strong performance results.
- Build high-performing teams focused on service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture across all locations.
- Ensure consistent branch operations, policies, and procedures across the region.
- Maintain strong internal controls and operational risk management practices.
- Partner with compliance and audit teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.
- Monitor branch performance metrics and implement improvement strategies as needed.
- Drive deposit, lending, and membership growth across all assigned branches.
- Ensure a consistent, member-focused service experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Represent the credit union within the community to strengthen brand presence and partnerships.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable federal and state regulations, including BSA/AML, consumer protection requirements, and operational risk controls.
- Maintain a strong culture of compliance and ethical conduct.
- Collaborate with compliance and audit functions to address findings and implement corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of management experience in retail banking or credit union operations.
- Experience overseeing multiple branch locations.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of branch operations, lending, and member service practices.
- Working knowledge of regulatory compliance, including BSA/AML and consumer protection standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
