At JW Hicks, we are looking for talented individuals to join our growing team in Merrillville, Indiana. Currently we are looking to add Production Workers. We have a passion for producing the best refractory products on the market and are seeking individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and a heart for "Doing it Right."

• Operate mixers and add minor ingredients to prepare mixes for casting/pressing
• Cast, press, or finish product
• Operate overs or kilns to dry and fire product
• Maintain raw material and product identification and record data into ERP system
• Operate forklifts and overhead crane to move materials and work in progress
• Good "hands on" skills with reasonable mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout shift
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must pass a post-off, pre-employment physical and drug screen prior to employment
