What You'll Do- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, health assessments, and annual physical examinations.
- Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, counselors, and nursing staff to coordinate care.
- Participate in treatment planning and case consultations.
- Maintainaccurateandtimelyelectronic medical documentation.
- Consult with counseling staffregardingpatient treatment and medication needs.
- Support a culture of quality, safety, compliance, and patient-centered care.
Required:
- Master’s degree in nursing.
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP/APRN) in the state of employment.
- Current DEA registration.
- Current CPR, First Aid, and BLS certification.
- Ability tomaintaincontinuing education requirements.
- Strong communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.
Preferred
:
- Experience working in behavioral health, addiction medicine, or substance use disorder treatment.
- Knowledge of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and co-occurring disorders.
- Two or more years of experience in psychiatric or addiction-focused care.
