Overview
The Lead Software Developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software solutions to enhance our manufacturing processes and overall business operations.
Scope- Reports to the CIO
- Collaborates with most other departments to support the business
- Lead the development and implementation of software solutions to support manufacturing operations.
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs to integrate various systems and applications.
- Utilize JavaScript and SQL to build and optimize web applications and databases.
- Develop and customize ERP systems to meet the specific needs of our manufacturing processes.
- Implement new systems and conduct UAT.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting‑edge.
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on manufacturing. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and SQL.
- Extensive experience with ERP customization and implementation.
- Extensive experience with API design and development.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of developers.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot is a plus.
- Must have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
