Job Description for Part Time Pastor Qualifications

• The candidate shall be beyond reproach and generally able to meet all the qualifications defined in Titus 2 and 1 Timothy 3 for overseer or elder.
• He shall be ordained or seeking ordination
• Academically he shall have earned a bachelor’s degree or higher.

Be able to ascribe to: current church bylaws and statement of faith

Note:

In regard to the pastor the current bylaws only define a full-time pastor. Some requirements will be relaxed for part-time work. Available upon request.
The Nicene and Apostle’s Creed
Desire to reach the community of Middleton and surrounding area for Christ.

• Preach the Gospel
• Administer ordinances
• Generally preside over services of public worship
• Attend monthly business and deacon meeting

• A parsonage can be provided free of the following expenses: rent, heat, electricity, internet, lawn care, snow removal.
• A salary commensurate for a small country church.

• Sunday morning, one evening mid week, and office hours equivalent of 1 day per week.
• Occasional weddings, or funerals etc.
• Available for special social activities such as: suppers, concerts, holy days
