In this Network Administrator position you will make impacts in the following ways;

* Maintains smooth operation of a variety of networks. Plans, evaluates, designs, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network.

* Maintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing.

* Provides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

* An Active Secret Security Clearance and CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

* Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex problems in a production environment

* Minimum of a High School Diploma and 3 or more years of relevant experience

* Ability to independently research solutions to problems and propose viable solutions

* Ability to work with multiple teams to accomplish complex tasks

* Comfortable working with multiple vendors in a heterogeneous environment

Technical skills

* Familiarity with at least one virtualization platform

* Good understanding of Cisco technologies

* Experience with LAN switching technologies such as VLANS, spanning tree, and ether-channel

* Capable of configuring network routing protocols such as Static OSPF & BGP

* Comfortable with Firewall routing, policy, and inspection

* Familiarity with configuring and managing NAT devices

* Experience with IP-Sec VPNs and GRE

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

* Experience with various WAN technologies such as MPLS and Ethernet

* Familiarity with networking requirements for high performance storage systems

* Familiarity with multicast technologies and anycast routing

* Experience with high speed Ethernet technologies (25GB, 40GB, & 100GB physical implementation)

* Experience in base networking architecture support

Technical skills

* Familiarity with Juniper networking hardware and technologies

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $79365 - $134921

This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
