Product Data Management Specialist

Location: Merrimack, NH | Keene, NH | Exton, PA

The Product Data Management Specialist
is a subject matter expert in SKU governance, vendor data management, and product lifecycle support
, providing advanced case-based support to Sales and internal stakeholders. This role serves as a second-level escalation resource
, leads training and enablement initiatives
, and ensures vendor, program, and audit compliance
while minimizing operational and financial risk. The Specialist balances reactive customer support
with
proactive process improvement, reporting, and documentation
.

Responsibilities

SKU & Vendor Management

  • Create, maintain, and audit SKUs for approved vendors in alignment with vendor contracts, program rules, and audit requirements.
  • Manage complex and non-standard SKU creation
    , including end‑of‑life (EOL) evaluations, duplicate SKU resolution, and exception handling.
  • Maintain and optimize AutoSKU processes
    , managing daily product updates, rejections, and data changes to ensure SKU accuracy, compliance, and system integrity.
  • Evaluate, track, and submit vendor contracts
    through completion and approval.
  • Maintain SKU governance documentation
    , standards, and supporting records.

Compliance & Risk Mitigation

  • Ensure
    SKU creation and vendor data
    meet vendor program requirements and internal audit standards.
  • Identify and resolve SKU-related risks
    to prevent order errors, revenue loss, and compliance exposure.
  • Audit product and vendor data for accuracy, completeness, and policy adherence.

Sales & Customer Support

  • Serve as a primary escalation point
    for Sales, Purchasing, Product Management, and leadership.
  • Provide
    pre‑and post-sales support
    related to SKU governance, vendor programs, and product data.
  • Manage and resolve requests
    through the Call Tracking Tool with a customer-focused, solution-driven approach.

Training & Enablement

  • Act as the primary training resource
    for Product Data Management and supported teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver training materials
    , job aids, and documentation for Product Data Management Associates.
  • Present SKU governance and product data training sessions
    supporting Sales and Product Management initiatives.
  • Identify documentation gaps and
    partner with leadership to improve knowledge resources.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain SKU‑and vendor-related reporting
    , including pricing, restricted web SKUs, and compliance metrics.
