Cloud Engineer

** Hybrid remote | 2 weeks per month onsite in Westlake, TX or Merrimack, NH**

As a Cloud Engineer, you'll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to accelerating our journey to the cloud. You'll work with cutting-edge cloud-native stacks and technologies, contributing to innovative architectures and services. Our team is the starting point for all security capabilities, guardrail definitions, and service enablement for our AWS environment.

Pay: $72-$77/hr

• Design, scale, and deploy cloud security controls and services.
• Build processes and workflows for seamless integration of IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS cloud services.
• Develop APIs in Python to enhance our cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure advanced security and compliance for a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate across teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Build comprehensive security controls to enforce policy.
• Support technologists deploying to the public cloud

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, security, and compliance.
• Proficiency in developing APIs, particularly in Python.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud services.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and security tooling for cloud-native deployments.
• Experience with deployment pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and infrastructure-as-code technologies.
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Ability to work with YAML and JSON markup languages.
• Understanding of cloud service delivery models (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) and related technologies.
• Ability to mentor and train team members in cloud technologies.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
