Data Analyst, Systems Analyst, IT QA Tester / Automation
The Role
This role offers the opportunity to join a SaaS/cloud-first, innovative, and fast-paced technology team within Fidelity Corporate Technology, supporting Workday Integration Team. support and enhance enterprise HR technology platforms, with a strong focus on Workday integrations, AWS-based services, and payroll/benefits systems. Leveraging Tests Web applications and web services (REST APIs). Applies Quality Assurance (QA) engineering and software development concepts in QA related tasks, test cases, and functional automation.
Tracks defects and issues and works with team members to ensure resolution. Participates in defect triage and production release deployment verification. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.
- Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
- Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
- Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
- Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
- Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
- Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.
- 4–6 plus years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer supporting complex technology solutions
- A bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field
- Strong experience in requirements analysis, backlog management, and Agile delivery practices
- Understanding of enterprise platforms, including Workday integrations, AWS-based services, and payroll/benefits systems.
- Strong experience facilitating stakeholder discussions and influencing decisions across teams
- Experience managing product backlogs using tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Experience leading refinement sessions, defining acceptance criteria
- Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, and competing priorities across initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $28.57-$68.57 per hour.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
