Data Engineer; Oracle Apps

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with Application DBA expertise to design, build, optimize, and support enterprise data platforms. This role combines advanced data engineering with hands‑on database administration, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of critical data systems. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and database management, along with a strong foundation in modern cloud data platforms.

• Administer, monitor, and tune Oracle databases supporting critical applications
• Manage database performance (query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and execution plans)
• Perform database maintenance activities (backups, recovery, patching, upgrades)
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data integrity
• Support application teams in database design and troubleshooting

• Develop and maintain data models (dimensional and normalized) to support analytics and reporting
• Build and optimize enterprise data warehouse solutions across Oracle and Snowflake platforms
• Ensure efficient ingestion, transformation, and integration of structured and unstructured data
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using tools such as Informatica and Python

• Support and enhance Oracle Analytics Server reporting environments
• Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy and usability
• Optimize data structures for reporting performance

• Develop and maintain solutions in Snowflake cloud data warehouse
• Implement best practices for cloud data architecture, cost optimization, and performance

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) and 7+ years of experience in data engineering and database administration
