Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing operations of the facility. This role ensures production schedules are executed efficiently while meeting quality, safety, cost, and customer requirements. The Operations Manager provides leadership to production teams, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates closely with Finance and other departments to meet operational and business objectives.
- Execute and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery requirements
- Ensure products are delivered with high quality, reliability, and on-time performance
- Oversee and maintain manufacturing dashboards, including product pipeline, schedules, scorecards, and risk mitigation plans
- Supervise and support Production Supervisors, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management
- Monitor production performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
- Assist with annual budgeting and collaborate with Finance to ensure operations remain within forecasted budgets
- Promote and support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and customer standards

Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience preferred
- Experience with analytical instrumentation and/or chemical processes preferred
Technical & Professional Skills
- Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100 quality environment strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using MRP/ERP systems (Syteline preferred)
Behavioral & Leadership Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead teams
- Proven people management, coaching, and leadership capabilities
- Ability to interpret data, analyze performance metrics, and make informed decisions
Preferred Skills
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S and Kaizen
