Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Associate (PA)

Greater Seacoast Health is seeking an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Associate (PA) to become one of the founding providers at our brand-new Wakefield Primary Care practice.

We strongly prefer Nurse Practitioner candidates with Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification but will consider other APRN specialties with significant primary care experience. Physician Assistants (PAs) with strong primary care experience are also encouraged to apply.

Help Launch Our New Wakefield Practice

Be part of the founding clinical team helping establish the culture, workflows, and patient experience from day one.

Practice Relationship-Based Medicine

Develop meaningful patient relationships while providing comprehensive primary care in an integrated outpatient setting.

Collaborative Clinical Team

Work alongside physicians, nurses, behavioral health providers, care coordinators, pharmacists, dental professionals, and support staff committed to exceptional patient care.

Professional Growth

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical innovation, population health programs, and evidence-based practice development.

What You'll Do

As an Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Associate (PA), you will:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Perform preventive health exams and wellness visits.
  • Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic testing.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans within New Hampshire scope of practice.
  • Coordinate specialty referrals and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with an integrated multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Document patient care accurately within the electronic health record.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provider collaboration activities.
Minimum Qualifications (Required to Be Considered)

Applicants must meet all of the following minimum qualifications:

Current, unrestricted New Hampshire RN and APRN licensure for Nurse Practitioner candidates, or current, unrestricted New Hampshire Physician Assistant licensure for PA candidates.

National APRN Board Certification

Current DEA Registration (or ability to obtain before employment)

Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Minimum of three (3) years of licensed practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or PA in Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Community Health, or a comparable outpatient setting

Preferred Qualification

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification is strongly preferred. Other APRN specialties with substantial primary care experience are encouraged to apply.

Applicants with fewer than three (3) years of licensed APRN primary care practice will not be considered.
