• Role: Veterinary Receptionist
• Status: Part-time
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
• Schedule: Monday and Friday 7:45 am - 5:00 pm. Wednesday 7:45 am - 2:00 pm.
• Position Requirements: One year of experience in a veterinary environment

Naticook Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced full-time veterinary receptionist to join our dedicated team. We are a small animal practice with three compassionate doctors. We take pride in providing high-quality care in a supportive, collaborative, and friendly environment. We’re looking for a friendly, dependable individual who enjoys working with both people and pets to contribute to our positive workplace culture.

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to remain upbeat, courteous, and calm under pressure during challenging situations with clients and all other team members.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, e-mail, and data entry. Experience using Avimark is a plus.
• Experience with standard office procedures and multitasking in a busy environment.
• Flexible attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and assist where needed.
• Eagerness and willingness to learn.

• Answer and direct phone calls
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records
• Accurately process payments
• Communicate with professionalism and decorum in person, via email, and on the phone
