Job SummaryThe Supplier Quality Engineer II impacts customer satisfaction and continual improvement through monitoring, managing and resolving issues related to supplier quality performance by developing Supplier relationships, auditing Supplier s capabilities, capacities, products, processes and procedures, handling the disposition of Supplier rejections, and coordinating Supplier corrective actions.
- Bachelor s Degree in an Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical or equivalent technical degree)
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Preferred Certifications/Licenses:
- ASQ-CQE, CQA, or equivalent
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Lead Auditor Certification ISO 9001 and 13485 preferred
- Experience with Mini-tab application plus
- Ability to read Blue Prints, Engineering Drawings
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication (Technical Writing experience a plus)
- Problem solving, analytical, and process improvement skills / experience
- Enterprise-wide Systems Integration (PLM, MRP, MES, ERP, etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality management methodologies such as:
- Six-sigma, Lean, Kaizen
- Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Control Plans
- ISO 13485/ISO-9001/AS-9100
- Quality Management Systems
