Security System Service Technician

Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Security System Service Technician to our Merrimack, NH team. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair security systems for both residential and commercial clients, ensuring optimal performance and a high standard of customer satisfaction across every interaction. Success in this role requires a thorough understanding of security technologies, strong troubleshooting instincts, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients in the field.

• Set up and install security systems including alarms, surveillance cameras, access control systems, and other related equipment at client sites.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on security systems to ensure ongoing reliability and functionality.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by clients, providing timely and effective solutions to maintain system integrity.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining system functions, and ensuring clients are comfortable and confident with their security setups.
• Recommend and implement system upgrades to enhance security measures as needed, staying current with the latest security technologies and industry trends.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions for each job site.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with applicable industry standards and regulations.

• High School Diploma or GED required; additional certification in electronics or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience with security system installations and troubleshooting, with familiarity across a variety of security technologies and equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively address and resolve client issues in the field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and internal documentation.
• High level of precision and attention to detail in all technical work.
• Capable of performing physical tasks such as climbing ladders and handling equipment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites within the assigned service area.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including occasional evenings, weekends, or overnight travel depending on client needs.

The wage for this role is $25.00 to $40.00 per hour
