Responsible for both the installation, repair, and maintenance of water mains, services, meters and other related appurtenances and duties related to meter reading, testing and servicing. All work is done using good safety practices and in compliance with OSHA, federal & state, and AWWA requirements.
Qualifications Entry-Level ($27.87/hour)- High school diploma.
- Valid state driver’s license in good standing.
- First Aid Training within 12 months of hire.
- OSHA 10 Hour Card within 12 months of hire.
- Additional Requirements ($31.35/hour)
- One year of successful technician service and deemed as fully qualified by means of training, experience, and knowledge
- Additional Requirements ($35.78/hour)
- Valid CDL-B license in good standing
- Backflow license
- NHDES Distribution Operator Certification I
- Two years of successful technician service and deemed as fully qualified by means of training, experience, and knowledge
- NHDES Distribution Operator Certification II
- Three total years of successful experience (at least two of which at Pennichuck) and deemed as fully qualified by means of training, experience, and knowledge
