We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer to join our team in building a next-generation, cloud-native Financial Crimes Platform.
This role involves designing and developing secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise applications while collaborating in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, quality, and delivering impactful solutions that protect customers in an evolving cyber-threat landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-native enterprise applications using microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
- Lead the development of REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Maven, and OpenAPI standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
- Implement Dev Ops practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring.
- Apply test-first development practices and ensure high test coverage using tools like REST Assured, Cucumber, and Wiremock.
- Drive observability and operational excellence using tools such as Datadog and Splunk.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and influence engineering best practices across teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with global teams to enhance engineering practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong foundation in full stack development.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Maven, and REST API development.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Kafka Streams, SQL, and Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
- Proven experience with Dev Ops practices and secure SDLC.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with service virtualization tools and modern testing frameworks.
- Background in financial services or security-focused platforms.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, blue-green deployments, and feature toggles.
