Principal Mobile Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with architecture, security, and UXD to build architecturally compliant apps
• Collaborate with platform squads to define mobile engineering standards, protocols, and tooling
• Providing mobile thought leadership to advance mobile outcomes and facilitate a mobile‑first approach
• Serving as Mobile advocate for the adoption of experiences that tackle the needs of our digitally‑minded customers

• 10+ years of professional experience developing publicly available Android apps using Android Kotlin
• Strong experience with Jetpack Compose, and Android Studio/Jetbrains
• Fluency in Android object‑oriented and/or functional programming from industry working experience
• Participated in the release of at least 1 publicly available app to the Google Play Store, from inception to launch using automated tooling like Jenkins, Dev Ops, and the Android toolchain
• Experience working in leading a team of Android developers, participating in architectural and design high‑value creation and discernment, code reviews, pull requests, and pair programming
• Proven experience mentoring and coaching other Android developers

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
