Asset Mgmt - Full Stack Engineer (80% BE / 20% FE)
Location: Merrimack, NH
Work Requirements: Hybrid (Onsite "Connect Weeks" required - Monday through Friday onsite every other week. Candidates must be onsite for Day
1).
Pay Rate: Up to $59.00/hr C2C
Interview Process: ROPES Test , Solutions Screen, and Client Interviews.
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale modern cloud-native applications within the Asset Management domain. This is a Full Stack role with a heavy emphasis on the backend (80%), focusing on REST-based microservices using Java and Spring Boot. The remaining 20% of the role involves frontend development using Angular
, requiring a candidate who is comfortable navigating and contributing to the UI. You will leverage containerized platforms such as Kubernetes (EKS) and contribute to CI/CD-driven delivery in an AWS environment.
Internal Candidate Guidance & Requirements
- Split Focus: The role is primarily backend-focused (80%), but Angular experience is required as the engineer will be responsible for frontend tasks approximately 20% of the time.
- Must-Have Technical Stack: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, and Angular.
- Database: Fundamental working knowledge of PL/SQL is required.
- Domain Expertise: Prior experience in the Asset Management domain or financial services systems is a strong plus.
- Innovation: Exposure to or hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies is preferred.
- Backend Development (80%): Design, develop, and maintain REST-based microservices using Java/Spring Boot.
- Frontend Development (20%): Enhance and maintain user-facing features using Angular
. - Cloud & Orchestration: Build and deploy scalable applications leveraging AWS and Kubernetes (EKS).
- CI/CD: Contribute to and improve automated deployment pipelines.

Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver business-driven solutions. - Quality & Maintenance: Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security while troubleshooting production issues.
