Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to develop scalable and high-quality data solutions within a dynamic asset management technology environment. This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and platforms that support critical business decisions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in data engineering, database development, and modern data technologies, along with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Develop and enhance database solutions using Oracle PL/SQL and SQL scripting.
  • Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Work with ETL tools and data warehousing solutions such as Informatica and Snowflake.
  • Analyze data to identify gaps, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and implement data models using quantitative and multi-dimensional analysis.
  • Apply data design concepts including transactional systems, data marts, and data warehouses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Follow Dev Ops practices, including CI/CD, version control, and containerization.
  • Participate in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in developing data engineering solutions.
  • Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL scripting, and database performance tuning.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica and data warehousing platforms like Snowflake.
  • Strong data modeling and data design skills.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture concepts including transactional systems and data warehouses.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in financial services or asset management domains.
  • Basic proficiency in Java, Python, REST APIs, and AWS.
  • Experience with Dev Ops tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
