Software Engineer in Test - API / SQL (Onsite, Nashua, NH) W2 Only

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using industry-leading tools and best practices
• Translate business and system requirements into thorough test plans, scenarios, and strategies
• Design, implement, and optimize automation scripts focusing on API and database testing
• Apply BDD principles and contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance automation coverage and effectiveness
• Measure, report, and analyze QA metrics to ensure top-notch quality standards

• 6-9 years of experience in software testing and Quality Engineering
• Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python is a plus)
• Strong expertise in API testing with tools like Rest Assured or Karate
• Solid SQL skills for database validation and testing
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and an understanding of Dev Ops practices
• Deep knowledge of functional, regression, and end‑to‑end testing methodologies
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Experience with Docker, AWS/Azure cloud platforms
• Knowledge of mobile testing and service virtualization
• Familiarity with non‑functional testing attributes and processes

• 4+ years of software development in test, with hands‑on scripting
• Technical expertise in RESTful web services validation and automation scripting
• Experience in cloud testing environments
