Mainframe Tester Cucumber & Java

Overview

The project is for a Software Engineer in Test role, focusing on testing software applications and automation. The team works in an Agile/Scrum environment with a heavy emphasis on test automation, data validation, and Dev Ops processes. The role involves testing distributed applications across multiple layers of the technology stack to ensure high-quality product delivery, with a focus on financial services applications (mutual funds, stocks, and managed accounts).

• Participate in test automation efforts using Cucumber and Java; test REST services.
• Contribute to data validation using SQL, DB2, and Oracle databases.
• Support Dev Ops practices with CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Git, Jenkins, and Sonar.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments using JIRA and XRAY.
• Work with mainframe concepts (Cobol, VSAM, Batch, IOM) as needed.

• Test Automation Expertise with Cucumber, Java, and REST services.
