Long Term Contract

This is a devops role with Kafka. We need someone who can stand up these Kafka clusters internally. Kafka is more important then the devops piece of this.

The Expertise You Have

• Working knowledge with implementing distributed, fault-tolerant and scalable software systems with a Dev Ops attitude
• Understanding of Cloud computing concepts and familiarity with running applications in the Cloud
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree and work experience
• AWS Certification is a plus

The Skills You Bring

• You have experience with developing and/or consuming REST Web Services and APIs
• You have knowledge of Java/JEE and Spring Framework
• You have knowledge of Confluent/Apache Kafka
• You have knowledge of Tibco EMS is a plus
• You have knowledge of Pivotal’s Gemfire for high availability caching is a plus
• You have knowledge of Kubernetes and/or AWS EKS
• You deployed applications on Tomcat and Spring Boot
• You are familiar with the Agile development methodology
