Sr Data Engineer

Connection is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead data and application integration work across multiple database platforms. In this onsite role in Merrimack, NH
, you will design, develop, test, deploy, and support data integration and migration solutions, while providing technical leadership, mentoring, and on-call production support. You will also collaborate closely with business lines, analysts, and project managers.

. The salary range for this role is USD 97,000 to 125,000 per year
.

• Design and develop data integration and data migration solutions, including documentation for technical specifications, deployment, and support procedures.
• Build database integration solutions covering requirement specifications
  , impact analysis, functional and technical design, programming, documentation, testing, data conversion, and implementation.
• Partner with business teams, analysts, and project managers to design and support new or modified database systems
  .
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to help developers improve their skills.
• Lead complex production support initiatives and apply long-term solutions where appropriate.
• Provide on-call support for database integration solutions.
• Track project hours in time management software.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

• Strong working knowledge of SQL
  .
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle relational database systems
  , plus cloud data solutions such as Databricks
  .
• Strong working knowledge of source control tools such as Git or Bitbucket
  .
• Strong knowledge of multiple data integration tools including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS),
  Databricks Transformation capabilities
  , and replication engines
  .
• Strong knowledge of application development principles and techniques, including system integration and software dependencies.
• Strong knowledge of logical and physical database design concepts
  .
• Basic working knowledge of Business Intelligence applications such as Microsoft Power BI
  .
• Ability to analyze functional requirements and data to design and build technical solutions.
• Ability to establish development estimates, meet target dates, and provide accurate scope analysis for large projects.
• Experience conducting knowledge transfer sessions and technical walk‑throughs.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to company policies and standards, with effective verbal and written communication.
• Flexibility to manage multiple projects concurrently
