Software Engineer In Test

Locations: (5 days/Month) Merrimack, NH / Westlake, TX

Interview: 1 round interview for 45 minutes

The Role

• Developing and maintaining automated suites of tests to assess product quality and release readiness
• Train squads on test management
• Collaborate with the team on improving test coverage and overall application health
• Conduct manual testing when needed

Skills

• Core Java experience Testing (manual and test automation)
• Financial services exp a huge plus (corp. actions)
• Testing Frameworks – Selenium, Test API (Java), expect to use Fit Nesse and Cucumber
• Good understanding of web services testing
• SQL skills is a must

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 5+ years of software product experience working on commercially available software
• 3+ years of relevant technical experience and experience in test automation
• Experience in Agile / Scrum methodology
• Testing Process and automation experience
• Financial services and agile experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or greater is required
• Hands on experience with crafting and maintaining testing frameworks like Junit, Cucumber, Fitnesse
• Intermediate Java skills
• Good understanding of web services testing
• SQL skills is a must
• Data analysis and technical troubleshooting
• Build efficiencies in testing that increase agility and time to deliver business value
• Drive a strong quality practice and influence the Squad to focus on quality in each sprint
