Java Backend Engineer - Onsite​/Hybrid

We are currently seeking a Java backend engineer to join our team in Merrimack, New Hampshire (US-NH), United States (US). The position is W2 only and requires working directly with NTTD. Recruiting is open to all qualified applicants; no STEM OPT participants will be considered.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology‑related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.
• 10+ years of demonstrable experience in full‑stack Java programming building scalable web applications.
• 6+ years of experience with Java Spring‑based frameworks and libraries, preferably Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of working with public cloud and cloud‑based technologies, with Microsoft Azure preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka or Service Bus.
• Experience building applications using databases such as Oracle, Postgres, etc.
• 6+ years of experience building and consuming REST API‑based integration and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of and experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience with software application testing approaches and tools like JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium.
• Experience with Chaos Testing and other SRE practices for building highly resilient cloud‑based software applications.
• Experience designing and developing applications in microservices architecture.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.‑based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $66,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
