Software Engineer

The HR Product Technology team working with Enterprise HR and Talent businesses is looking for a Software Engineer to assist with the new implementation of Service Now to replace the existing case management system.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide Service Now expertise to assist the team in developing a product using the Service Now HR Service Delivery module. This includes knowledge transfer to the full-time associates who will be supporting the app going forward.
As a member of the scrum team you will demonstrate your skills and knowledge to add to the team’s success
Provide technical mentorship to other engineers on the delivery team
Develop an understanding of the business domain in order to participate in discussions, planning, and provide feedback to drive the team and product forward
Collaboration, communication and engagement skills and will be encouraged to articulate and document business and system requirements
Flexible attitude and be able to appropriately accommodate change
Dedication to the highest levels of quality!
Aptitude and desire to ramp up quickly on new technologies and skills

Experience and Skills:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree and 5 plus years of professional experience
Experience with the Service Now HR Service Delivery, Lifecycle Events & scopes
Proficiency in JavaScript and scripting in Service Now
Solid understanding on Flow Designer
Experience building custom applications, integration & portal widgets
Experience with Team Development
Experience with Onboarding Mobile App a plus
Service Now Development, especially inbound/outbound REST integrations
Linux/Windows
Proven hands-on experience and a real passion for working within an agile (scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.) development environment
Experience working within a distributed environment

Nice to have:

Experience with the Service Now HR Service Delivery module
