Overview

Senior Advisor to Sr. Manufacturing Leader of Operations – This role supports the senior leader of all Lunar human-capable vehicle manufacturing and leads a dynamic team in developing and implementing manufacturing and operations systems for space vehicles.

This position is part of Blue Origin Operations, including Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across Blue Origin facilities. You will contribute to making spaceflight safer and more affordable, supporting our mission to enable millions of people to live and work in space for the benefit of Earth.

• Provide mentorship using knowledge of strategy, business insights, and organizational structure.
• Aid the Operations team in facilitating effective decision-making on complex scenarios with major impact.
• Drive high-impact implementation of initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
• Participate in regular meetings with the Operations VP/SVP and leadership to identify barriers and develop action plans.
• Support decision-making in a fast-paced aerospace environment and ensure actions are carried out.
• Gather, coordinate, and present data; ensure decisions are implemented and actions tracked for the Operations VP.
• Influence leadership to achieve strategic goals with a planned, timely approach; represent the Operations VP and serve as a strategic expert to a large portfolio of projects/programs.
• Collaborate with the VP’s leadership team to align strategy with organizational goals; develop policies, practices, and procedures with significant impact.
• Manage strategic and tactical priorities, connect work streams, and develop content with the Operations VP.
• Coordinate internal communications (e.g., company announcements, quarterly updates, all-hands presentations).
• Identify, shape, and lead pivotal initiatives, including deep dives in areas lacking single-threaded ownership.
• Lead change management to evaluate, coordinate, and approve new requirements or changes.

• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and bring order in rapidly evolving settings.
• Well-developed project-management skills with meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; capable of managing both tactical and strategic information.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without direct authority; when appropriate, act with VP-level authority.
• Business acumen, including understanding of market, competitors, and technology for sustained results.
• Collaborate with VP and leadership to refine messaging for executives and workforce.
• Experience operating in at least one corporate function (Engineering, Business Management, or Operations preferred).

• Bachelor’s degree minimum; preference for Engineering disciplines.
• 10 years of relevant program management/operational experience.
• PMP certification and EVMS experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and data communication skills.
• Ability to balance technical, business, and organizational factors.
• Proven ability to work independently, anticipate problems, deliver on commitments, and be accountable.
• U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card), or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.
• Ability to earn trust and contribute to an inclusive culture; maintain positive professional relationships.
