At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re developing reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight. This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar space, and beyond.
The first stage is fully reusable and designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
You will be part of a team of engineers, specialists, and technicians working on systems engineering for the New Glenn Valves, Actuators, and Components Technology group. Activities may include trade studies, margin allocations, risk management, gated reviews, system safety analysis, technical performance management, configuration and data management, payload integration, and regulatory compliance. You will be the authority on all aspects of your component’s product lifecycle from concepts through testing and verification, and you will collaborate with stage-level systems engineers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, robust component solutions that meet customer needs.
