Preferred Candidate
Prior experience in a Manufacturing Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Production Configurator or Configuration Data Manager role with a strong preference for those proficient in Windchill PLM and data analytics.
Responsibilities- Analyze mBOM flow into and out of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- Optimize mBOM structure to align with build workflows.
- Track and communicate engineering configuration changes to the manufacturing engineering team.
- Develop and maintain automated queries and dashboards to report on mBOM and design change metrics.
- Assess and improve BOM configuration, metrics, and repeatability from past and current builds.
- Create models and processes to standardize configuration and inform product development and build strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production configuration, or configuration data management, with proficiency in Windchill PLM and data analytics.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience defining mBOM architecture and managing configuration changes.
- Proficiency with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, especially Windchill.
- Experience working with SQL, Databricks, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and resolve problems in manufacturing or production environments.
- Strong background in data analytics, computer science, or computer engineering.
- Experience developing automated and templated systems or processes.
- Strong communication skills for presenting technical information to leadership and cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to simplify and visualize complex data for diverse audiences.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies or products.
- Direct experience with PTC Windchill and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems.
