Integration Technicians Needed
We are seeking integration technicians in Merritt Island, FL. This is a 6-month contract (with the potential for extension and/or conversion to perm). Areas of expertise needed (please apply if you fit one or more of these areas): aerospace & environmental stress screening (thermal, vibration, and pressure) on flight hardware aerospace & precision drilling/countersinking aerospace & testing, solenoid valve (acceptance, thermal, vibration, pressure) aerospace & torque wrench, fod, hydraulics, pneumatics, gaseous pressure systems or krytox.
Aerospace manufacturing &/or electrical harness.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another relevant field
- Experience in at least one of the following is required: fluids and tubing install, instrumentation and electrical harness routing, and general aerospace/launch vehicle assembly.
- Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures.
Desired:
- Industry certification, trade school training and/or degree in a related field
- Proven success as a "hands-on" technical leader
- Experience in handling large aerospace components
- Experience in assembling large tight tolerance structures.
- Experience in new product introduction
- Experience in a team-based lean manufacturing environment
- Lean manufacturing and/or six sigma certification
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 50lbs.
3 available shifts:
- Monday thru Thursday - 5 pm to 5 am, pay is $46.20/hour W2
- Friday thru Sunday - 5 am to 5 pm, pay is $46.62/hour W2
- Friday thru Sunday - 5 pm to 5 am, pay is $48.30/hour W2
