Supply Chain Manager

The Ash Group is hiring a Supply Chain Project Manager for our client, an innovative aerospace company developing reliable and cost-effective technologies for commercial spaceflight. This is a 6-month contract working in Merritt Island, FL (Onsite) and offering a pay rate of $73 per hour based on skillset.

  Up to $73/hr W2

• Manages the operational supply chain activities of an organization.
• Manages tasks related to production planning, materials purchasing, inventory control, price setting, vendor selection, and distribution.
• Monitors the movement of raw materials, in-process goods, or completed merchandise to ensure that production needs or customer expectations are met.
• Collects data and prepares analyses designed to forecast demand or predict inventory needs.
• Maintains contact with vendors and submits purchase orders or requisitions to ensure a continuous supply of goods.
• Evaluates existing supply chain processes, implementing changes when necessary to improve efficiency and overall performance.

• Must have Bachelor's degree
• Must have 5+ years of Project management experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Aerospace exp is highly preferred.
• Experience with end-to-end supply chain experience (planning, purchasing, inventory, and distribution) is a must.
• Experience managing vendors and executing purchasing activities (e.g., POs, requisitions, supplier coordination) is required.
