Our dynamic and evolutionary client is seeking to contract a highly capable and motivated Supply Chain Project Manager III.
Location: 100% onsite Merritt Island, FL
Length of Assignment – until 12/31/26
Compensation – $60.00-$65.00
Additional Compensation: This position is not eligible for bonus or incentive compensation.

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Project Manager to lead cross‑functional initiatives that support manufacturing operations, production scalability, and supply chain performance. This individual will drive complex projects involving production planning, materials management, procurement, inventory optimization, supplier coordination, and process improvement. The ideal candidate thrives in fast‑paced environments and has a proven track record of delivering projects on schedule while managing multiple stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage supply chain and manufacturing-related projects from initiation through execution and closeout.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, operations, and suppliers to ensure project success.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and status reporting.
- Drive initiatives focused on production rate increases, capacity expansion, process optimization, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Oversee production planning, material availability, procurement activities, inventory management, and supplier performance to support manufacturing objectives.
- Monitor the movement of raw materials, work‑in‑process inventory, and finished goods to ensure production schedules and customer commitments are achieved.
- Analyze supply chain data, demand forecasts, and inventory trends to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with vendors and suppliers to ensure continuity of supply, resolve material shortages, and improve delivery performance.
- Evaluate existing supply chain processes and implement improvements that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
- Facilitate project reviews, stakeholder meetings, and executive updates while maintaining alignment on priorities and deliverables.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to prevent disruptions to manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience within a manufacturing, production, engineering, or industrial environment.
- Experience leading projects involving production scaling, rate increases, capacity planning, or manufacturing process improvements.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, logistics, and supplier management.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with defined scope, schedule, budget, and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to make data‑driven decisions.
- Experience utilizing ERP, MRP, or supply chain planning systems.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities and aggressive timelines.
- PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma, or related project management certification.
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, automotive, energy, or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of demand planning, forecasting, inventory optimization, and supplier performance metrics.
- Experience with production ramp‑up, new product introduction (NPI), or manufacturing scale‑up initiatives.
