Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Subcontract Administrator III to support Supply Chain Management (SCM) operations for new product integration initiatives within a dynamic aerospace and manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of materials, components, and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cradle-to-grave procurement activities, including sourcing, supplier selection, negotiations, purchase order placement, and subcontract closeout.
- Support New Product Integration (NPI) efforts and assist with onboarding new suppliers and components.
- Procure hardware, materials, components, and services to meet program requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance, track delivery commitments, and resolve schedule-related issues.
- Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to align procurement strategies with program objectives.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while addressing performance concerns and escalations.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, conditions, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and supply chain efficiencies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, subcontract administration, or supply chain management.
- Required experience within the aerospace industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing the complete procurement lifecycle.
- Strong supplier management, negotiation, and contract administration skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional and Integrated Product Team (IPT) environments.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work onsite in Kent, WA, Merritt Island, FL, or Huntsville, AL.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by applicable export control regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting New Product Integration (NPI) or New Product Introduction initiatives.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Costpoint.
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations and aerospace supplier quality requirements.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and data-tracking capabilities.
- Experience in a fast-paced aerospace or manufacturing environment.
