Aircraft Painter – TPS & Structures

Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Possible Extension)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Integration Technician to support spacecraft production and assembly. This role involves applying Thermal Protection Systems (TPS), performing structural assembly, and working with precision tools to ensure high-quality and safe spaceflight hardware.

• Apply TPS materials, sealants, and adhesives on flight hardware
• Perform surface preparation, bonding, gap filling, and vacuum bagging
• Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications
• Support production setup, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain FOD/tool control and follow 5S and safety standards
• Complete detailed production logs and quality documentation

• 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or MRO
• Experience with adhesives, sealants, composites, or thermal systems
• Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills
• Familiarity with FOD control, quality processes, and production environments
• Comfortable working at heights, confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs
