Third Shift - Weekend Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Mechanical/Electrical Manufacturing Engineer in Kennedy Space Center, Florida to plan and author procedures for the Orion Spacecraft Elements Team and provide floor support for Electrical & Mechanical Integration environments. The applicant will perform specific duties to include, but are not limited to:
- Performs various duties including creating and/or developing manufacturing work instructions.
- Determines the sequence of build, selecting or designing required tools, and solves production problems during the build of mechanical/electrical piece parts and assemblies.
- Assists in investigating design/manufacturing factors such as equipment or part availability, manufacturability, ease of assembly, and large assembly management.
- Develops and maintains all assembly documentation.
- Troubleshoot/correct anomalies and discrepant hardware.
- Performs producibility reviews on engineering designs/drawings to assess manufacturability, ease of assembly, and material availability.
- Routinely interfaces with program personnel and reports project status to leadership.
- Ability to work 3rd shift & weekend is required for this role.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,400 - $129,260. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered:
