Quality Engineer
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
3+ years of quality engineering/quality management experience within a certified Quality Management System (ISO 9001, TS 16949, AS9100, etc.).
Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (required).
Strong experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions (CAPA), DMAIC, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency with statistical analysis tools and quality data reporting.
Experience developing and maintaining quality procedures, inspections, audits, sampling plans, and FMEA documentation.
Knowledge of QMS standards and compliance with ISO/industry certifications.
Ability to lead quality initiatives, train employees, and provide direction to quality inspectors.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills in manufacturing and production environments.
Experience using measurement and testing equipment (gauges, micrometers, voltmeters, etc.).
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills (including pivot tables and macros) and strong technical writing skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams.
Automotive industry experience and experience supporting large OEM customers is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

This is a Contract position based out of Merritt Island, FL.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $74.00 - $77.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
