Quality Supervisor
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) and 5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
3+ years managing product quality within a certified Quality Management System (ISO 9001, TS 16949, AS9100, etc.).
Six Sigma Green Belt certification required;
Black Belt preferred.
Strong experience with root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), DMAIC, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with quality systems, audits, FMEA, Control Plans, and statistical analysis tools.
Experience supervising, coaching, training, and leading quality inspectors and QA staff.
Strong troubleshooting skills related to design, manufacturing, assembly, materials, and process quality issues.
Ability to use quality measurement and test equipment (micrometers, gauges, voltmeters, etc.).
Advanced Excel, reporting, data analysis, technical writing, and communication skills.
Experience working in cross-functional teams with engineering, production, purchasing, sales, and other stakeholders.
Automotive industry experience and experience supporting large OEM customers strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving methodologies.
Proven leadership, organization, delegation, and time-management skills.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Merritt Island, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.65/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
