Security Officer Front Desk

• Saturday, 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Sunday, 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor visitor access, verify identification and credentials, and direct employees, contractors, and guests in accordance with front desk protocols for an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
• Maintain front desk logs, visitor records, and other required documentation, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns through proper channels.
• Answer phones, assist with inquiries, and support access control functions in a professional manner while helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptions at the location.

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
