Launchpad Technician
Join our team to support the construction of the launch pad, mount, and tower for Starship rocket launches. We welcome a diverse range of experiences including electricians, avionics, fluids technicians, mechanics, navy/nuke, instrumentation, and integration technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks to construct the launch pad, mount, and tower for Starship launches.
- Install electrical systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Execute conduit bending, cable termination, and wire pulling.
- Conduct piping layout and installation.
- Calibrate, repair, and maintain mechanical and electronic components.
- Ensure quality inspection of harnessing and cables.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and piping diagrams.
Essential
Skills:
- 3+ years of professional experience in construction electrical environments or similar fields.
- Experience in industries such as shipyard, oil/gas, aerospace, or petro.
- Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation work.
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
- Experience working with 480V electrical systems.
- Understanding of blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

Work primarily in the field, supporting the construction and maintenance of the Starship launchpad. This role involves both indoor and outdoor work environments, utilizing a range of tools and technologies.

This is a permanent position based out of Merritt Island, FL.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $79040.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. SpaceX benefits TBD - receiving from TA ASAP.
