Material Movement Associate - I
D Shift Friday - Sunday, 6pm - 6am

Contract / On-Site Compensation: $28 per hour
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating, monitoring, and escalating roadblocks that could cause downstream defects.
• Assist in root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts related to operational issues.
• Properly operate heavy equipment, including PIT equipment and forklifts, adhering to safety procedures and maintenance practices.
• Unload shipments delivered by carriers and visually inspect packages for compliance with SOPs.
• Conduct quality control checks on incoming parts and shipments, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Document receipts and work orders accurately using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Input data into inventory management systems, navigating modules and reading information as needed.
• Identify and apply appropriate packaging for parts, ensuring proper wrapping and storage throughout workflow stages.
• Move, sort, and stage packages, crates, and storage containers securely to prevent loss.
• Label and mark parts according to SOP requirements for proper tracking and analysis.
• Properly store parts, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with storage procedures.
Requirements• Forklift experience is required, with the ability to drive forklift with training.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently.
• Experience in fulfillment operations, including inventory counting, receiving, and packing.
• Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material experience.
• Experience with receiving, shipping, and handling inventory.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support root cause analysis.
• Fundamental knowledge of operating heavy equipment such as electronic pallet jacks, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks.
• Ability to visually inspect shipments and perform quality control checks.
• Proficiency in data entry and navigating inventory management tools.
• Good judgment and adherence to SOPs for storage, packaging, and staging.
