Reception SEND Teaching Assistant (Non-Verbal Child)
Location:
Wembley, HA9 7RY
Start Date:
After Half Term
Pay: £90-£110 per day
Hours:
8:30am - 3:00pm
Contract:
Full-time, Long-term
A supportive mainstream primary school in Wembley is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a non-verbal child in Reception.
Role Responsibilities- Supporting a non-verbal child with learning, communication, and social development
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Implementing strategies in line with the EYFS framework
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Experience supporting children with SEND (essential)
- Experience with non-verbal children (desirable)
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare or supporting teaching and learning (advantageous)
- Good understanding of EYFS
- Patient, caring, and committed to a long-term role
- Competitive pay of £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)
