Fabulous Full Time Nanny Role - Barnes - Two Children

Early March (a little flexibility for the right candidate)
Hours:
- 52.75 hours/week, Monday–Friday.
- Schedule:
Monday & Friday 08:30–18:00;
Tuesday–Thursday 07:45–19:00.
Location:
Family home, SW13 0PP
. Familiarity with Barnes and surrounding areas is a plus. Candidate should live as close as possible. Residential parking permit required (family to confirm).
Children:
- Infant ~1 year.
- Preschooler ~almost 4 years (starting full-time nursery in September; walking distance).
Key responsibilities:
- Sole-charge care for both children: routines, feeding, naps, safe supervision, developmental play.
- School logistics support: applications/communications, walking children to school/nursery, managing dates/deadlines, forms and returns.
- Homework support, introducing and developing reading, and supporting early learning.
- Organise children’s schedules, paperwork and related household tasks (children’s laundry, tidying play areas). Family has weekly cleaner. Willingness to “muck in” with occasional extra child-related household tasks (e.g., a few loads of laundry when time allows).
- Cook delicious, healthy meals for the children (including batch-cooking staples).
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and outings; balance of outdoor and at-home engagement.
- Proactive, can-do approach to take on the mental load for busy parents; clear daily communication as parents work from home 2–3 days/week (parents have separate offices within the house).
- Occasional light household tasks directly related to the children. No pets; driving not required (willingness to travel an advantage).
Person specification:
- Several years’ proven nanny experience, including sole-charge experience with infants and preschoolers.
- Exceptionally organised, reliable and excellent at managing dates, paperwork and logistics.
- Warm, affectionate, safety-focused, proactive and passionate about childcare.
- Loves to cook healthy family/children’s meals and can batch-cook.
- Strong early-years development knowledge — able to support reading and homework.
- First Aid & Paediatric CPR (or willingness to obtain).
- Spanish speaker a bonus but not essential.
- Local candidates preferred; familiarity with Barnes/SW13 is a plus.
- Looking for a long-term role.
Salary & benefits:
- £55,000–£60,000 gross per annum. Terms, holiday and other benefits to be discussed.
