We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Deputy Manager to join us at the start of this exciting new chapter, helping us build a safe, secure, and positive environment for children and young people to thrive.

The RoleWe are looking for a confident and experienced Deputy Manager who can support the Registered Manager in delivering high‑quality, compliant and relationship‑led care.
As Deputy Manager, you will:Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day leadership of the home in line with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
- Deputise for the Registered Manager when required
- Lead shifts and provide clear, consistent direction to Residential Support Staff
- Promote strong safeguarding practice and high standards of recording
- Support staff supervision, performance and development
- Contribute to Regulation 45 reports and work positively with Regulation 44 visitors and Ofsted
Help create a warm, structured and aspirational environment where young people can grow in confidence and independence.
This role requires participation in a 24-hour rota, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Has at least 2 years’ experience working in a registered Children’s Home (in line with Ofsted’s regulations)
- Has experience supervising or leading staff within a residential setting
- Demonstrates strong working knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
- Can confidently step into the Registered Manager’s absence and uphold standards without hesitation.

- Whether their experience is within an Ofsted-registered Children’s Home or an Ofsted-registered supported accommodation (semi‑independent) provision
