Accounting Manager
Our client is seeking an Assistant
Controller to play a key leadership role within our growing Client Accounting Services (CAS) practice. This individual will be responsible for leading a portfolio of client accounts, overseeing day‑to‑day accounting operations, and developing interns and staff bookkeepers. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on accounting professional with strong leadership skills, deep Quick Books Online expertise, and a passion for leveraging technology and AI to drive efficiency and scalability.
This is a hybrid role
, with an expectation of 3–4 days per week working in the office to support collaboration, training, and client service. Flexibility is provided for the remaining work time and location. The role reports directly to a Partner and will be instrumental in improving, standardizing, and scaling our CAS practice.

- Lead and oversee a portfolio of CAS clients across various industries
- Review and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on accounting and financial matters
- Proactively identify issues, opportunities, and process improvements for clients
- Lead, train, and mentor interns and staff bookkeepers
- Provide hands‑on guidance to ensure proper transaction entry and reconciliations, primarily in Quick Books Online
- Establish and uphold best practices, documentation standards, and quality controls
- Review work prepared by team members and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Support future hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of CAS team members as needed
