We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join the shared-services team of a well-established manufacturing company in Mesa. This role supports multiple U.S. business units and focuses on month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, banking activity, and audit support.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and interested in becoming a long-term internal resource with potential for future leadership growth.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end close
- Reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and capital project activity
- Support banking, payroll, audit, tax, and budgeting activities
- Maintain accurate schedules and process documentation
- Help improve accounting workflows and internal controls
- Partner with accounting teams across multiple locations
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience
- Strong month-end close, journal entry, accrual, and reconciliation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Fixed asset and capital project experience
- Multi-entity or shared-services experience preferred
- Manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or industrial experience preferred
- Advanced Excel and ERP experience
- Costpoint or Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus
- Ability to meet applicable U.S. export-control requirements
