The City of Mesa invites applications for one vacancy at either the Tax Auditor or Senior Tax Auditor level. The role audits Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) and Use Tax for businesses, ensuring compliance with City and state laws and generating tax revenues.
Tax Auditors start at entry level with a Bachelor's in Accounting or Auditing;
Senior Tax Auditor handles advanced audits and requires more experience. A valid Arizona driver’s license is required for both roles.
