Data Entry Specialist

Location: Mesa, AZ
Work Environment: Fully Onsite
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour

Overview

A growing technology and operations organization is seeking detail-oriented Data Entry Specialists to join its onsite operations team in Mesa, Arizona. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy structured work, document review, and data entry in a fast-paced office environment.

The Data Entry Specialist plays an important role in supporting operational workflows by reviewing incoming documents, organizing mail, entering information into internal systems, and ensuring accuracy throughout the document processing lifecycle. The team is looking for someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable working with high volumes of documents and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open, count, and sort incoming mail and documents.

  • Review documents to determine proper handling and routing.

  • Identify inconsistencies, missing information, or non-standard documents.

  • Enter document information into internal web-based systems with a high level of accuracy.

  • Track and record document counts and other key processing metrics.

  • Batch documents appropriately for processing and data entry.

  • Scan, label, and upload documents into internal systems.

  • Maintain organized digital and physical records.

  • Extract and enter information from documents into internal programs.

  • Identify documents that should not be processed and flag issues as needed.

  • Support special projects and assist the operations team with additional clerical tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Previous data entry or administrative experience preferred.

  • Experience reviewing documents and making basic processing decisions is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to operate office equipment such as computers, scanners, copiers, and mail-processing machines.

  • Comfortable navigating web-based systems and internal software tools.

  • Minimum typing speed of 10,000 KSPH (Keystrokes Per Hour) for data entry tasks.

  • Fully onsite position in Mesa, AZ.
